Andrew Davis: Oklahoma Juggalo Busted in Face Paint after Hit and Run

Juggalos always try to claim that they are not a bunch of losers and criminals, that they are just fun-loving people who share a love of Faygo sodas and the splatter-rap music of Insane Clown Posse and the rest of the Psychopathic Records stable. And then they keep on doing things like what Andrew Davis is alleged to have done in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. And the trouble is, when you run someone over and drag them 100 feet, all while hollering "Woot! Woot!" and wearing crappily applied black-and-white face paint, people tend to remember you by it.

(No one's ever said they were the
sharpest cleavers in the butcher's block, as this blast from Hair Balls' recent past will show you.)

The Tulsa World, lead newspaper in a town evidently so rife with Juggalo-related mayhem that it is home to an
Anti-Juggalo League, picks up Davis's tale:

The hit-and-run incident occurred around 10 p.m. Tuesday as the victim was walking in the 3800 Block of Ohio Avenue in northeast Bartlesville, a court affidavit stated. Witnesses told police they saw a man wearing black and white face paint driving a black sedan swerve across the road where the victim was walking, striking him and dragging him down the street, all the while yelling along with a passenger in the car.

The victim, who suffered multiple abrasions across his body, was taken by ambulance to Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

Davis claims that he was merely accelerating his vehicle to get away from an assailant who had punched him through his car window earlier, and indeed, it does look as if someone was not particularly down with this clown. If you look closely under that panda-looking face paint, it does appear that this Juggalo's got a shiner.

Hell, maybe Davis was a randomly selected target in someone's own
Punch a Juggalo Day celebration.

"History of Juggalo Violence"

Picture
From killing a girl then having sex with her corpse, to tying up a grandmother, beating her with pots and pans and then stealing her car, here are the 10 most heinous Juggalo crimes of all time (other than listening to Insane Clown Posse). Because Tila Tequila got attacked, then mobbed, by a group of Juggalos (the subculture built around the Insane Clown Posse, known for their violence and crimes), I've put together the most craziest crimes ever committed by them, just to put it into perspective that Tila got off EASY.

Also, this just goes to show that although ICP is barely relevant anymore, their fanbase continues to be the worst fanbase of all time. Of course, ICP themselves aren't really the "cause" of any of this, but it'd be neglectful to say that the subculture they've created doesn't play a part. I'm sure we'd find an insane amount of news of far worse crimes (even though these are pretty crazy) if we put a list of Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Puff Daddy, or even U2 fan crimes together. But fandom of those bands isn't really reported whenever someone commits a heinous crime, is it? Just food for thought. Now onto the crimes.

"Juggalo Kills, Has Sex With Girlfriend (In That Order)"

Picture
Before we get started, it's important to note a small detail: none of these involve guns, yet all of them are brutally violent in some way, shape or form. In fact, most of these involve hatchets/meat cleavers/knives... judging by the "Juggalo" logo (seen in item 2 below), it's no question where these people are getting their inspiration (once again, food for thought). It's not like getting a gun is that hard for kids to begin with. Moving on...

18-year-old Alex Pacheco received a 48-year prison sentence in April of this year for suspect of stabbing and strangling 13 year old girlfriend Kelsey Shannon (both pictured to the left) for cheating on him, then copulating with her dead body. Shannon went missing in October of 2008 and was found dead in a drainage ditch not far from her home in January of 2009. By that time, physical evidence and official cause of death could not be determined from her body.

Pacheco’s arrest resulted from witnesses who heard Pacheco brag about the murder, as well as evidence from his very own computer in response to internet pressure (guessing that "pics or it didn't happen" played a part in all this).

When the file on his computer, covertly/intelligently labeled "Kelsey.doc" was revelaed, a diary of his necrophilic tendencies was found.

“I love the thought of necrophilia,” Pacheco wrote, according to the detective’s testimony Wednesday. “A dead body never judge(d) him, play(ed) games with him or hurt his feelings. You’re sick, Alex. Killing is second nature to you, and you tried to tell her that.” Apparently, jumping tenses was yet another issue in his laundry list of mental problems.

He even gloated to friends about what he had done and another source states that

"...In addition, one acquaintance alleged that Pacheco and an unidentified friend, probably his slurpee buddy, shared details of their plans to destroy the body. The two explained that they planned on filling a large barrel with coca-cola and bleach. They talked about placing Kelsey’s body in the barrel so that all tissue evidence would be destroyed. Pacheco and his friend stated that all that would be left is teeth, which they planned on smashing with a sledgehammer and scattering throughout Colorado."

"Juggalos Stab War Veteran With Meat Cleaver, Act Out Lyrics"

Picture
Michael Goucher, a U.S. Army veteran, was brutally stabbed to death in February 2009 in Price Township, Pennsylvania when two Juggalos decided to act out lyrics from an Insane Clown Posse song.

Juggalos Shawn Freemore aka Skippy Citter, 19, and Ian Seagraves aka ThrOwT Stabba, 17, both of the Cresco area, acted out lyrics from ICP music during the murder.

They stabbed Goucher in the head and neck over 50 times with several entry wounds with a meat cleaver (which is what the ICP's trademark evil clown is often holding in Juggalo Paraphernalia).

Michael Goucher went missing after the attack, and police first spotted his car a week later. A day later, his body was found in a heavily wooded area around the car.

Perhaps most disturbing is Seagraves's mother's account of the week of the murder and her son's calm behavior.

"My son was home that night like he was every night that week, playing video games... he was on probation at the time, so we made sure he was home. There's no way he could have done this."

"Juggalo Goes on Gay Bar Rampage with A Hatchet, Kills Cop, Girl"

Picture
18 year-old (which is apparently when Juggalos really let loose, for some reason) Jacob D. Robida went on a rampage and allegedly entered a gay bar in Massachusetts, took a hatchet underneath his sweatshirt (that's right, a HATCHET) and struck one man in the face, and then pulled a gun out and began shooting around the bar where authorities say he was "hunting for gays". So this was, in fact, a hate crime.

3 patrons at the bar were wounded and were hospitalized in critical condition. After this attack, Robida then returned home, drove his parents' car to flee the police/his life.

Two days later, he shot and killed a police officer who tried to arrest him. Trying to flee from Massachusetts, he kidnapped a female companion and drove southward attempting to cross the Mexican border.

He was then halted by authorities in Arkansas, where he murdered the female and committed suicide.

A high school dropout, Robida had a MySpace profile, which displayed his main interests of the controversial and all-around "bad example for kids" rap group Insane Clown Posse. He also called himself a Juggalo.

"Juggalo Murders Boyfriend's Mother"

Picture
18 year-old Tess Damm, resident of a state youth facility, was convicted of helping her boyfriend Bryan Groves (who would be PERFECT for the role of "Blanka" in a Street Fighter movie) murder his mother. Quite a ridiculous feat to do over "love"; showing once again that this generation didn't listen to enough meatloaf.

However, officials went to court in May of 2010 and requested to transfer her to an adult jail for planning an escape last year which involved strangling a guard with a shoelace.

Self-declared Juggalette, her MySpace consists of mixed messages, calling herself a Christian while displaying ICP lyrics and declaring, "A fucking bitch is what I am."

"Tila Tequila Gets Rocks, Urine, Feces Thrown At Her, Then Mobbed"

Picture
As Tila took the stage to perform at the "Gathering of the Juggalos (GOTJ)” in rural Illinois this past weekend, the crowd began throwing rocks and garbage towards the stage. The festival was hosted and organized by the Insane Clown Posse.

Making her hip hop debut on “Ladies Night,” the crowd pelted her with huge stone rocks, liquor bottles, pee-filled balloons and feces retrieved from the portable toilets (yes, it wasn't even fresh).

Fans badgered her to take her top off, and when she finally did, the crowd became even more wild, and even threw a firecracker at her head, which exploded on stage and burned some of her hair. Tila suffered a slit eye from the rocks and burnt hair from the firecracker explosion. It didn't end there, though. What happened to Tila that night is akin to a zombie apocalypse.

This is her recounting what happened:

"These people were trying to kill me. So then after the last blow to my head with the firecracker they threw at me exploded, my bodygaurd and the other security grabbed me and ran as fast as they could to the shitty trailor. Since their security SUCKS, the 2 thousand people ran after us, trying to kill me.

They almost got me so they finally reach the trailor, blood all over myself, cant stop bleeding, then all of a sudden, all 2 thousand people surround the trailor and busts the windows!!!

Even the guys INSIDE with me were shaking! Their hands were shaking cuz they were so scared! So 3 guys inside the trailor had to grab a table and push it over the broken windows and grabbed all the chairs they could find so hold the people from outside back.

It was scary as hell!"

"Two Juggalos Attack Kid with Medieval Battle Ax Over STDs"

Picture
In July 2008, two 21 year-old Juggalo males entered the home of a 17 year-old male/soon-to-be victim. One of the Juggalos was jealous that this soon-to-be victim was text messaging "his girl" and believed that he (the Juggalo) contracted an STD from his girl, who contracted it from the soon-to-be victim. Still with us? Sweet.

The two attackers (
pictured here ) stabbed the 17-year-old male with a knife, and then, just to really hammer it in, they struck him in the back of the neck with a medieval battle ax. No Dwarves were found at the scene .

That's right, a MEDIEVAL BATTLE AX.

300 stitches were needed to close the wound on the back of the victim's neck.

Deputies and detectives spotted a piece of jewelry at the scene that was dropped by the attackers, which was identified as "Juggalo". Police spotted a car with a Juggalo sticker and hunted down the car, where they arrested the two males.

"Juggalos Murder 9 Year-Old Old Neighbor"

Picture
(CBS/ AP)  A best friend of a teenage girl accused of murdering a 9-year-old neighbor says her friend once said she wondered what it would be like to kill someone.

Alyssa Bustamante, 15, has been held at the Morgan County jail after being indicted Wednesday as an adult on charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action for the Oct. 21 death of Elizabeth Olten.

"She (Bustamante) told me I wonder what it would be like to kill somebody," Jennifer Meyer told CBS' "The Early Show" Monday.

"I just dismissed her," Meyer said.

Crimesider: Bustamante Listed "Killing" as a Hobby Online

"She seemed like any ordinary girl," Meyer said of Bustamante, adding that she spoke often about suicide and depression. "She was always kind of strange, I guess."

Authorities say Bustamante strangled, stabbed and cut Elizbeth's throat because she wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone. They say Bustamante confessed and led them to Elizabeth's body two days later in a wooded area near their homes in St. Martins, just west of Jefferson City.

During a court hearing last week, a juvenile justice officer testified that Bustamante had attempted suicide two years ago and had received both inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment for depression and cutting herself. Her juvenile defense attorney said Bustamante also had attempted to cut herself with her own fingernails while being held in juvenile custody after Elizabeth's death.

Public defender Jan King cited the previous suicide attempt in a court document Thursday while stating that Bustamante was "demonstrating signs of severe depression and anxiety" and had been under a suicide watch at the jail.

Bustamante needs "immediate psychological treatment" to "assess her current mental state and to prevent the possibility that she may harm herself," King said in the motion requesting her transfer.

A not guilty plea was entered by a judge on Bustamante's behalf during her initial appearance Wednesday in adult court. If Bustamante is convicted of first-degree murder, she would face a sentence of life in prison without parole.

"Juggalos Tie Up, Beat, Grandmother, Steal Her Car"

Picture
A Pierce County jury last week convicted a 20-year-old man of tying up a friend's grandmother, beating her with kitchenware and stealing her car.

Jurors on Thursday found Matthew Richard White guilty of first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment and taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission.

Prosecutors contended that White and four juveniles
attacked the grandmother of one of the juveniles at her Tacoma home July 15, 2009. The group beat the woman with pots and pans, bound her with duct tape and took her car, according to court documents.

Deputy prosecutor Gregory Greer argued during trial that White committed the crimes to maintain his status in the Juggalos, followers of the band Insane Clown Posse who are sometimes known to engage in criminal activity.

The jury did not make that finding.

White is to be sentenced March 26.

The other people charged in the case have pleaded guilty.

"Juggalos Beat Up Homeless Due to Sexual Orientation"

Picture
In 2010, Jonathan Dakota Appelt, 18 and Robert Lee Griffin, 19, were accused of choking a homeless man until he was unconscious. They then beat and robbed another homeless man and attacked another as he slept beneath a bridge, all because of... wait for it... their sexual orientation.

Apparently these homeless men had acted in a lude fashion earlier on in the day towards one of the toy boys involved in these crimes, but instead of letting bygones be bygones, they went back later and planned a beating of all of these.

"Muggings, Beatings, Drugs in the Park"

Picture
For several nights last month, a group of thugs with black hooded sweat shirts pulled tight over their heads, including at least one in "angry" clown makeup, terrorized visitors to Pierce County's Fort Steilacoom Park, police say.

The group cried "woo, woo, Juggalo" as they assaulted park visitors with a machete and fists. They stole cellphones, cash and wallets and even threatened to cut their victims' heads off, according to court documents.

So far, two men and a woman have been charged with robbery and assault for their alleged roles in the string of attacks, said Pierce County deputy prosecutor Phil Sorensen. Prosecutors say the suspects claim to be "Juggalos," a subculture that has developed among the fan base of the rap/metal group Insane Clown Posse.

"The violence was gratuitous," said Lakewood police Lt. Dave Guttu. "They [victims] had already given up their stuff and were assaulted anyway."

Two victims suffered broken jaws in the attacks that occurred the nights of June 18-20 and early in the morning of June 21. Another was kicked in the head, and a woman said her attackers demanded that she take off her pants, according to prosecutors.

All of the victims were at the park after it closed, police said.

Guttu said eight to 10 more people are being sought for their alleged roles in the attacks, in which 23 people were injured.

According to prosecutors, one of the men charged in the attacks claimed that Juggalo groups are growing in Pierce County — going by the names "Hatchet Riders," "Juggalo Empire" and "Northwest Juggalo Posse."

"The people in the Juggalo group say they're seeing violence on the rise among the Juggalo group," Guttu said.

Anthony Pierce, 29, Crystal Hilliard, 19, and Daniel Barnum, 21, are accused of participating in the park assaults. But, Guttu says, violence is atypical among Juggalos in Lakewood, where the park is located.

Juggalos and Juggalettes — as female fans of Insane Clown Posse are called — are known to dress in black and wear black and white clownlike face paint. According to a statement on the Web site
whatisajuggalo.com, the subculture preaches racial tolerance and belief in a religion.

Spokespeople for Insane Clown Posse's record label, Psychopathic Records, didn't return calls for comment Tuesday. The band is scheduled to perform this weekend in the annual "Gathering of Juggalos," a large outdoor concert near Columbus, Ohio.

Victims of the Fort Steilacoom violence reported that one woman was wearing black clownlike eye makeup and other attackers were dressed in black hoodies, Guttu said. One person carried a machete. The Insane Clown Posse is often identified by the symbol of a laughing clown carrying a meat cleaver or hatchet.

Sorensen, the deputy prosecutor, said other people claiming to be Juggalos have been charged in violent crimes.

Guttu said the park, which closes at 9 p.m., had become a popular hangout for Juggalos to drink and smoke marijuana. He advises park visitors to visit the park only when it is open.

"Four North Carolina Teens Charged in Bizarre Killing"

Picture
A group of teenagers in North Carolina suspected of murdering a friend allegedly read him his fortune from tarot cards shortly before beating him in the head with a hammer, tying him up and suffocating him with duct tape, according to recently released search warrants.

Investigators say they are still searching for a motive in what they have called the bizarre killing of Matthew Silliman, an 18-year-old Eagle Scout whose body was found in an unoccupied trailer in rural North Carolina earlier this month.

Four friends of Silliman's -- Aadil Shaaid Kahn, 17, Allegra Rose Dahlquist, 17, Drew Logan Shaw, 16, and Ryan Patrick Hare, 18 -- have been charged with his murder.

All four suspects are being held without bond in the Wake County jail. They face up to life in prison if convicted. Lawyers and relatives of the four teens either did not immediately return calls or declined to comment.

According to police documents, three of the suspects confessed to some role in the murder and implicated the fourth defendant. Although court documents do not identify which suspects confessed, Hare's lawyer, Robert Padovano, said the other three suspects had given statements to the police, but Hare had not.

Insane Clown Posse Violent Lyrics Link to Murder?

The murder has baffled the small community near Raleigh, N.C. Jason Waller, a Wake County Assistant District Attorney, said police and prosecutors were "definitely looking into" allegations that one of the suspects, Shaw, was affiliated with a group known as the juggalos, fans of the Detroit-based rap/hip-hop group
Insane Clown Posse.

As
first reported by ABC News station WTVD, some Insane Clown Posse lyrics appeared similar to the alleged crime.

According to WTVD, in the song "Murda Cloak," one line reads: "I tied a ***** up, I had to duct tape the ***** face." The song "Wax Museum" says: "It seems my cards of tarot have dealt you a very odd hand," and the song "Like It Like That" says: "Sometimes my dome feels like a cherry bomb. I gotta pound his ***** head with a hammer to keep him calm."

Influence of Violent Lyrics? The Insane Clown Posse, whose style of music is sometimes referred to as "horrorcore," wear face paint and write songs that contain often violent lyrics. The
San Francisco Chronicle once described their performance as a "laughably juvenile rap-metal/performance-art ensemble."

Though the term juggalos merely refers to fans of the group, some self-described juggalos have been linked to gangs and violent crimes, according to law enforcement officials and published news reports.

"Ninety percent are just true fans that casually enjoy the music. Some say they see each other as family because they can connect with one another, whether through Internet or concerts," said Det. Michelle Vasey of the Arizona Department of Law Enforcement's Gang Intelligence Unit, who said she has tracked the group's activities in Arizona for about two years.

"But there's so much constant violence and mayhem in the lyrics, and maybe 10 percent of these kids are going out there and starting to put graffiti out, committing gang-related crimes," she said.
